Julie finds a space with great light

When my friend Julie came to town she invited me over and take some photos of her in a delightful downtown apartment space she found online. “Was it even allowed I asked?”
“The rules say I can’t have a party, but I can have one other person over, so… you have to see this light!” I was sold. I am a sucker for great light and this gem of a mansion on Capital Hill near downtown Salt Lake City was carved into individual apartments. The top floor was dripping with gorgeous light. This wasn’t a commercial shoot so I wasn’t compelled to get special permission, but am now sold on the idea of using the internet and air bnb when location scouting for shoots with budgets. |
