Beyond learning the camera and beyond learning light there is discovering your subject. This is my favorite part of photography.

I discovered Mia at the Salt Lake Comic Con, dressed as the Queen of Dragons from Game of Thrones. As a huge fan of the series, I asked if I could take a quick snap and took down her Instagram. A week or so later I sent a message asking if she’d like to shoot and she said hell yes!
